In 2022, Jillianne decided to go for it and build the career she’d always wanted—one that allowed her to help others in a significant way. Knowing that buying a first home can be an overwhelming process, Jillian loved the idea of being a source of support and knowledge for others.

Why was joining White Diamond Realty the right next step in your career?
As soon as I met Melissa, I knew there was no other brokerage option for me. At first, as a brand new agent just barely learning the ropes, I felt scared and uncertain. Quickly I realized I was surrounded by the best support system and knew that, with this team, I would be successful in my journey.
What are your best qualities as an agent?
I’m very personable and determined. The biggest reward is to know I’ve made my clients experience something they will remember in a positive way.
What is the most common hurdle you see buyers encounter, and how do you help them with it?
Thinking that buying a home is unattainable. Most aren’t aware of all the programs available to start the process and how beneficial this is to their future.
What is the most common hurdle you see sellers encounter, and how do you help them with it?
As a seller, the question “What’s next?” is sometimes scary. I help break the process down to my clients to give a more positive and realistic perspective.
What advice do you give to sellers as they’re preparing to list their property or when they receive an offer?
My advice is to trust the process. Hiccups happen, but it doesn’t mean there will be a negative outcome.
What advice do you give to buyers as they’re preparing to buy a home or when they make an offer?
To be certain in their decision and have back-up plans always.
What changes do you see coming in the next two to three years?
Although the market now is new and challenging for some, in a few years, I see buyers and sellers being more confident.
What makes North Central West Virginia a great place to buy a home and put down roots?
North Central West Virginia is beautiful, need I say more? The area is filled with adventurers to be had, delicious food to be eaten, and stories to be told.
What is your favorite thing to see or do in West Virginia and our surrounding areas?
My favorite thing to see in WV are the seasons changing. Every day here is beautiful.
How do you find fulfillment outside of work?
I enjoy art of all forms. I enjoy painting, drawing, writing, and music. I love to spend my time creating something, anything.
Where do you see yourself in your career in 10 years?
I see myself helping to make a difference in the community.
