Becoming a Real Estate Professional

The Why, What and How of a Successful Career

It’s been said that real estate is the easiest business to get into, and hardest to succeed in. The real estate profession is a competitive and many faceted industry. It’s true that assisting customers is a major component, but there is so much more than meets the eye. Our industry has an estimated turnover rate of 88%. That means less than 20% of new licensees make it past their first few years. If you are considering, or already on, your path to a career in real estate White Diamond Realty invites you to attend our three-part workshop, Becoming a Real Estate Professional – The Why, What, and How of a Successful Career. Making a career move is a difficult decision that deserves careful consideration and research, this workshop will be a vital part in helping you make the most effective plan to start your new career path.

This opportunity is free and will provide you a firm foundation to build from.

Are you interested in taking the first step on your path to success in the real estate industry?

Workshop Dates

OPTION 1:
EVENING WEEKDAY

Session I – The WHY

The first step in a successful venture is evaluating why this is the path for you in order to determine your best approach to excel. In this session we’ll dig into your motivation and vision. We’ll also touch on your communication style, organizational skills, strengths to build on, and weaknesses to mitigate. Another big question is which type of real estate do you want to practice? The only similarity between commercial and residential sales is the license, so knowing which interests you more from the start is important.

Session II – The WHAT

What is your definition of success? It’s hard to get to your desired goal if you don’t clearly know what that goal should be. Success does not look the same for everyone, so taking a one size fits all approach does not typically get the best results. Knowing your budget, your business plan, your measure of success and those metrics is essential to create a business plan that will get you where you want to be.

Session III – The HOW

Here is where we get into the nuts and bolts of not just how you get your license, but how you build your business once you have it. What education do you need if you haven’t already started? What expenses do you need to plan for? What are some ‘hit the ground running’ tips to get you off to a great start? What type of transactions can you expect? We will dig deeply enough to get you started, but not so deep as to overwhelm as we wrap up what has hopefully been a valuable workshop to your future.
